In April 1970, a document was signed at the government office in Prague on the eviction of the inhabitants of three villages affected by the construction of the EDU. These were Skryje, Heřmanice and Lipňany. Only chapels remained in the villages. The regime at that time worked hard to ensure that a minimal monument to these three villages remained. The construction of the power plant began in 1978 and the first unit was commissioned in 1985.

With a collection of photographs, I am trying to at least somewhat recall the events surrounding this event and evoke memories of the no longer existing buildings and life in them.
